In an effort to better serve our customers Tiffin Loader Crane has put together a step by step process on the NCCCO certification process through our office. Review the information provided below and contact John Kosta at ext. 214 with any questions.
Prior to Testing go to www.NCCCO.org:
1. Manual
On the left side of the screen go to “Training Resources” click on “Reference Materials” and print out the Articulating Crane Reference
*You will need to study this, or the ASME B30.22-2005 Articulating Boom Cranes Manual
Written Exam:

2. Candidate Handbook
At the top of the screen go to “Handbooks & Forms” and find “Articulating Crane Operator Candidate Handbook” print this out
*This book describes the certification process and will answer the questions you may have.

3. Candidate Application-Written Exam-Due 2 weeks prior to testing date
At the top of the screen go to “Handbooks & Forms” and find “Articulating Crane Operator Written Application” print this out
*Complete this form and send it in to the address on the back of the form along with your payment.
*Under “Written Exams” you will need to check all cranes you intend to test for. *Please note that Tiffin Loader Crane is only accredited to test for Articulating Cranes.

4. Candidate Application-Practical Exam-Due on the testing date

5. Cost of the Certification Process
- In-House-The cost for the written exam is $165.00 and the practical exam is $60.00 per candidate. The fees are paid directly to NCCCO. The remit to address is listed on the back of the application form. Tiffin Loader Crane’s fee for set up and administering the exam is $300.00 per individual.
- Mobile- The cost to have a representative from Tiffin Loader Crane come to your facility is $950.00 per day, and a $25.00 per person administration fee. Your company would be responsible for supplying the testing equipment.
*This is paid directly to Tiffin Loader Crane on the first day of testing.
*All fees must be paid prior to the start of testing.
6. Equipment Provided
Tiffin Loader Crane will provide hard hats, and high visibility vests.
7. Need to Bring
Each candidate will need to provide a picture ID such as: a driver’s license or a passport. Proper attire is expected; work boots, pants, and shirts with sleeves. No shorts or sleeveless shirts will be permitted.
Tiffin Loader Crane is collecting candidate names to form classes at all times. Prior to submission of your company’s application please contact John Kosta to secure your placing in the certification class.
